Australian Poetry Centre Festival, Castlemaine
The Australian Poetry Centre's Regional Festival will take place in Castlemaine, Victoria, during Anzac Day Weekend (April 25-27, 2008).
Highlights from the festival program include a poetry reading at the dawn service on Anzac Day, master classes with leading international poets, a tribute to Lisa Bellear, a screening of an early film about Leonard Cohen at Australia's longest running theatre, the Theatre Royal and a children's play and nursery rhyme games by the local youth theatre group.
